My Mom's heart stopped this morning, she is on life support. She is only 53. We have been estranged for over a year, and have had a strained abusive relationship my whole life. This is incredibly difficult.
I'm leaving in the morning. any prayers or good thoughts would be so appreciated. I'm just numb right now and have a long journey ahead.

This is my first visit to your blog. I am so very sorry. I myself am 51, and have two daughters who will be 30 & 34 in November. Sometimes mothers and daughters don't get along. But to be estranged is tragic. I never knew my own family. Nor do I know if my own mother is still alive, for I only met her a couple of times. Sometimes I think perhaps that is much easier than what you are going through...
